Hi there,
Another posting from me so soon!
I’m writing to tell you all about the most amazing package Greg found on our front steps last night. It was full of toys for the kids and some gift certificates for me and Greg. It was completely anonymous and I have no idea who would do such a thoughtful thing for my family.
Words cannot describe our amazement and our utter gratitude. I don’t know if it was a group of you or what but I cannot tell you thank you enough from the bottom of my heart. Each and every one of the gifts for the kids is absolutely perfect!!! It made me cry that someone (or a group of someones) would take the time out of their own busy schedules and think of us—in the most amazing way.
Whoever you are signed the card and I plan on looking through each and every card I’ve received (I’ve saved every last one and found a beautiful box to keep them in). I’m going to compare the handwriting and see if I can figure it out. J
Truly an amazingly wonderful, beautiful, thoughtful thing you did. Thank You!!!! Merry Christmas!!!
And while I’m at it, I’d like to thank Mark Turcotte for sending me three dvds: Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman and Steel Magnolias. It’s chick flick palooza!!!!!!!!!! I should have some girls over. We can have some wine, eat some snacks, paint our nails and watch some movies. Hmmmm, that might be an idea!!
There are so many of you who have not received a formal thank you yet for all you’ve done (but you will—I’m getting there with the thank you notes). However, I’m going to take right now to thank you all for holding my family in your hearts. The generosity and love you showed us cannot be expressed in words. You fed us, you helped with the kids, you came to see me in the hospital, you sent flowers, you sent movies, you sent me cards, you made me cd’s, you sent me books, you sent me tshirts, you surprised me at the Relay for Life, you sent countless gift certificates, you sent teddy bears, you tried to send me to a Red Sox game, you bought me a cup of coffee, you gave me a hug, you cheered me up, you made me laugh, you let me cry.
I could not have done any of what I did in the past year without each and every one of you. You are all so so so special. I’m extremely blessed and lucky to have so many fine people in my life.
Thank you!!!
Love,
Kim
