Hello All,
After waiting allllll day to hear results, I found out that both of the major tumors have reduced an additional 20%!!! The chemo is still working!!
I had an EKG at 9am and have unofficial results that the pericardial effusion is NOT back. I’m assuming that we can put that issue to rest unless another one shows up on a CT scan.
We had an appointment with Dr. Walsh at 10:30. However, a radiologist had not yet read my CT scan. That to me is unacceptable and unprofessional. I didn’t tell Dr. Walsh that (it wasn’t his fault!!!) but Greg heard me say it all day long. I think each time I said it, I might have been a little angrier and could have perhaps peppered my sentiments with a few choice words!
We finally heard back at 6 pm. It was a quick conversation and Greg and I had a whole list of questions to ask him. We’ll probably send him an email to get some answers. I go back on Monday for more chemo. We’ll do another three rounds and see what the progress is at that point.
I pick my kids up today. I miss them. I’m not sure if they miss us…they’ve had a blast the past few days!
